Orientation Programme at SDIET Marks the Beginning of a Journey towards Excellence!!!! The Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology (SDIET) kickstarted its academic year with an invigorating Orientation Programme aimed at welcoming new students into its vibrant educational community. The event took place on August 17, 2023 at the institute's campus and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty. The orientation programme commenced with a solemn Hawan ceremony, symbolizing the institute's commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also a sense of spirituality and moral values among its students. The welcome address was delivered by the esteemed Principal of SDIET, Prof. Dr. Pawan. In his speech, he extended a warm welcome to the incoming students and emphasized the institute's dedication to providing a conducive learning environment that fosters academic growth, character development, and practical skills. The event also had the privilege of hosting Mr. Vinay Singh as the Guest of Honour. With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years. Mr. Singh's address resonated with the Students as he shared insights from his rich professional journey, offering invaluable wisdom to the budding engineers. Mr. Shaleen Taneja, Senior Data Scientist Zscaler. Mr. Shaleen Taneja encouraged the students to embrace their college life to the fullest while also recognizing the importance of actively participating in the various essential activities organized by the institute. The orientation programme concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement among the incoming students.

T&P Cell SDIET along with MAX HOSPITALS, GURUGRAM & VAISHALI (LOCATION) successfully conducted an ON-CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE for BBA Final year students on MAY 16, 2023. Mr. Sumit Rathee (TPO, SDIET) welcomed the team from MAX HOSPITAL- Mr. Deen – HR Max Head Office, Mr. Sujeet – HR Max Head Office, Ms. Sangeeta – Manager FO Operations – Max Gurugram & Mr. Suvajit – DDM FO Operations – Max Vaishali. Mr. Deen started the drive with a brief introduction about the MAX HOSPITALS, also he discussed about the Profile and their requirements with the students. Further skills of the students were evaluated by conducting the Personal Interviews. In the last vote of thanks was given by Ms. Neha Bajaj (T&P Coordinator, Dept. of MGMT STUDIES).

Department of ME and T&P Cell SDIET successfully organised an Industrial visit at Victora Industries Private Limited Plant at Sector -58, Ballabgarh, Faridabad for B.Tech ME 6th semester students on 9th May 2023. The visit was started with brief introduction of HR manager, Plant Head, students and company profile. They were taken to the Fabrication shop to demonstrate the specialized fabrication work of Spot welding, TIG, MIG and Robotic MIG welding followed by visit to “Standard Room” where they were demonstrate the working of CMM, G D & T and standards and then finally we all visited “Machine shops” which could lead us the knowledge about different types presses, fixtures, Laser cutting, CNC turning machine, etc. They were also given a glimpse of work environment and demonstrated the steps of manufacturing of products. After so much discussion, we all were move towards the reception area for group photograph. The visit was successful in establishing a work culture among students and they were happy to see the working of a fabrication and machine shop work using MIG, TIG, Spot, Robotic welding, CNC machines, power presses induction hardening, Laser cutting machine etc.

T&P Cell SDIET along with Extension Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad successfully conducted a CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE on April 17, 2023 for BBA final year students where one of our BBA IIFSB student *RITIKA DHYANI* got successfully placed.

T&P Cell SDIET organised an Industry Expert Session for BCA - DS 1st and 2nd year students on May 3, 2023. Mr. Nikhil Garg (Guest Speaker) having 13+ Industry Experience conducted the session in a very passionate manner. He guided the students about ongoing trends especially about Data Analytics and its related fields. The Students were also very curious. He shared the knowledge about the history of Machine Learning in very interesting manner. Mr. Garg also addressed questions like how students can become Data Scientist and pursue his/her career in the field of Data Science. Overall the session was very interactive and informative.

T&P Cell SDIET along with Interwork Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Noida successfully conducted an ON-CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE for BBA final year students on April 29, 2023. Mr. Vishnu (CEO-INTERWORK) started the drive with a brief introduction of the company, also he discussed about the Profile and their requirements with the students. Further Aptitude Test was conducted for evaluating the skills of the students along with the Personal Interviews.
